1.what we don’t do
Odds on; At footy-form you will never be given selections that are odds on ( 8-11 , 4-6 , 1-3 etc ) . All very big and bold having football tipsters put up short price favoutites in singles and doubles at 1-3 and 4-6 …but it’s the easiest way to the poorhouse!
Claim we have ‘inside information’; All selections have been given only after many hours of form study, intelligent evaluation and also our experts personal recommendations. We don’t claim to know any ex-professional footballers …. Its all done through hard work and experience. It’s the only way to make any business work
Substitute quality for quantity ; With over 40 english matches, 30 scottish matches and many many more european football matches every weekend – it would be easy to throw a dozen selections out every weekend. We focus on the matches every week that give the punter the edge and spot where the bookmakers have left the punter with a great value betting opportunity. As there are over 190 markets on every football match in the top tiers of each countries league – the inability of bookmakers to cut out the value and their mistakes on pricing in every market (especially the ones we specialise in) gives us, the punter, the edge.
So throughout the week (we don’t just bet on saturdays matches) we would expect to play in probably 5-10 matches maximum. Selective quality rather than quantity.
Promise you every bet will win; As you will see below, the bets prices we are involved in are high are more often enough double figures. This is high tariff , but low risk level of stakes betting and although we will never say that we have never had losers or losing streaks – the size of the prices means that when we win ….we win big .
Give you the obvious bet; A few of our selections are in the english premier league , but as the form of these are well known by the bookmakers we also play in the lower english leagues , scottish premier league and the european leagues in spain , germany italy and holland. The value is vast here as bookmakers are too lazy to tightly price up many of the markets we will be involved in which means great value to be had ! However all bets we give are able to be placed in all high street bookmakers and most betting exchanges.

Give value; The single market selections we offer are almost never shorter than 3/1 and more often in the 5/1 to 10/1 price bracket. The multiple combination markets we operate in are usually in the 12/1 -100/1+ (yes over 100/1 !!) Bracket . We work mainly in the single markets of:
- First goalscorer ( win and eachway)
- Correct score
And in the multiple combination markets of
- The scorecast ( this is a combination bet of first player to score and the correct score and given as one price )

Give you a staking plan; With each selection we will recommend the level of stakes you should have on each selection based on a 1-10 range , where 1 is a minimum bet and 10 a maximum bet. Of course you have no need to follow this but it is well advisable and devise by us to assist your profit maximisation.
Advise where the best prices are; These football markets are uncomplicated to place bets on ….and all major and minor bookmaking firms do offer prices on these selections we publish – its just that the variation in prices can be massive. This is especially so on large double figure scorecasts.
3.the footy-form betting markets and selections
The first goalscorer bet; This is where we are betting on which player in a match (from either team) will be the first player to score a goal. So Ryan Giggs to score the first goal for manchester united in a match may be priced at 9-1 ….meaning that a £50 bet would return £500 (inc stake) if indeed the ‘mischievious one’ nets the first goal in the game.
The first goalscorer each way bet; Remarkably, like horse racing – you are able to bet ew the first player to score a goal in the match. On occasion we will be betting each-way where the odds commonly are 1/3 the price for the first 5 goals in a match. Like a horse race, an each-way bet on football works in a similar way, but with better terms (the terms used to be 1/2 the odds of the price until 2007 – but we believe that by our success over the years in this market ….the bookmakers have cut the terms to stop us)…..
For example if we bet £50 ryan giggs at 9-1 each-way this time to score in the first goalscorer market in a match, and he scores first this would return £700. This is calculated as the win bet plus 1/3odds of 9-1 which is of course 3/1. So returns on that first goal bet each way being scored by giggsare calculated as;
- Win part of bet £50 x 9-1 = return of £500
- Ew part of bet £50 x 3-1 = return of £200
- Total return of £700
However if giggs fails to score first and scores say the third goal of the game …then like a horse racing ew bet – the win part of the bet is lost and the only part of the bet to return is the each way £200 . A simple to understand bet that is available on almost every match from all high street bookmakers and most betting exchanges.
We specialise in looking for goalscoring players in form who are up against a weak opposition defence and so have a high chance of scoring.
Interestingly the odds on this market do not vary as much as you would think from match to match or in face of easier opposition. Great value betting opportunities abound and betting prices are usually in the range of 7/2 to 10/1 and quite often well above that up to 33/1.
The correct score bet; This is a bet that does what it says on the tin – name the correct score of the match at fulltime. Usually prices range from 5/1 – 20/1+ and is amore volatile market but that is why the prices are more reflective of that higher risk. Again a bet that we search for with a strong team versus a weak team who are unlikely to score , giving us hopefully only the strong sides number of goals to select.
The scorecast bet; This is a combination bet of the above two bets available at all high street bookmakers and most exchanges where there is one price given to the bet. This is a multiple combination bet formed by selecting the player to score the first goal in the match and combining with the fulltime final score. For example a scorecast bet would look like this;
Ryan giggs to score first / Manchester United win 2-0. It’s a combination of both bets prices usually but can vary dramatically from bookmaker to bookmaker. If Ryan Giggs first scorer is 9-1 and the price of the 2-0 correct score is 6-1 ….the scorecast price would normally be between 40/1 and 50/1
Our strategy again is to look for the strongest teams to play weaker teams and so cut out the risk of an upset, and therefore make the scorecast win more achievable.
A great high tariff value bet , and not easy to land …. Definitely higher risk and less of a success ratio – but when they are successful they are a cash machine !
